Ive been working on this off and on for about a year..The chassis is based on a 220" wheel base.. Its an old school new/ school build...old school power and a few modern upgrades...The engine is a "Big John " Hockney resin "Lincolnstein" V-12 with Ardun heads and fuel injection, scratch built the oil pan, dual mag set up, fuel pump and zoomies..TDR supplied the 9" and lenco as well as the clutch can and rear brakes .. Ive ordered some ET's from Micro Nitro and they should be here in a few weeks.. The body is fiberglass and is currently being puttied and shaped and should be in primer in about a week...It measures just a tick under 32" long..

Im hoping to get hot and heavy on this soon (gotta get over this crud first) ..Hope to complete it by May of this year...

Wow, this is cool love that motor. I have been thinking about getting into brass frame building. Is it difficult at first?

It has a learning curve for sure..Im a fabricator and welder by trade so I had an advantage but is not difficult..The bending of the tube is the biggest challenge and you will have to do some creative clamping ..Like anything just takes practice ...

Great looking build and concept Mike. I especially like your "glass" work and the body. Any more pics or insights on that in particular you might be able to share. I love the shape / design of the body.

Cheers,

Tim
