Agent G
Unless you're building a specific replica of their PR car from that year, it has to be a slicktop. MISP quickly found out the roof on the 1st Gen Chargers wasn't braced sufficiently to support that beacon in it's old halogen spotlight bulbed glory. The current Charger can and does come with a beacon as the roof is "stiffer", and the guts on those beacons is all LEDs. You know I wondered once why I never saw a MSP Charger with that old roof beacon. Come to think of it I bet that is a heavy beast of a light. I like the Trenton Charger, does it park in the nonexistent city garage? G
blubaja
Lol. When I did autoglass for them, they were always at the firehouse garage. And there were all severely beat up after only a few years in service already.
Agent G
I find it odd that some "big city" PD's allow the fleet to become so ratty looking. Yes the cars can and do take a beating, but we were held accountable for the slightest ding. That and we repaired the cars on a regular basis. Don't even mention a missing hub cap or wheel cover ! G PS - "Whiteout" works great on white cars...........just sayin'.............
