CHEVY 1948 COE tanker " Monster truck " rusty

Recommended Posts

Many of you may find this truck more of a joke than a serious build...even the builder of it! As it happens, you may have inadvertently built a replica of a real farm/CO-OP truck. Here in good ol' rural oklahoma, we actually have a tanker truck that is sitting on 60 inch tall (monster truck) tires. It is used as a fertilizer/pesticide spray truck for hay and sod farms. It has 30 foot long spray booms on both sides. It is quite a site to see driving up and down the roads in our town.

I have to say, you did a great job on the weathering and fitting the body and tank on the chassis.

Please tell us what resin kit you used for this build and where you got it.I had an uncle that delivered bulk fuel in the 1950's with a truck that very similar to that one and would love to build a replica if it.

Thanks for your help!
