migace Posted May 24, 2014 Share Posted May 24, 2014 I love this thing! this was a rather rare version in a promo form before Brookfield started doing the nascar vans based off the promo tool. I got it with the original package introducing the all new 1996 Express. Chevys previous generation van design dated back to the 70's. It is a very nice and heavy model. As for Brookfield I think that possibly minting Chrysler Concords, dodge intrepids, neons etc. might not have been as attractive as the corvette vipers etc of the other company's. IIRC they had a fire at the their factory that destroyed a bunch of tooling or something, back around 2000 or so. Those were all promo runs ordered and paid for by Chrysler. Nothing wrong with filling a paid order! And they did it well.
