  1. Is it just me, or is there a real lack of Ford PU's between thease years from model makers? Also missing some nice Chevy's! thanks JC.
  2. Hope this counts. I play "pedal steel guitar" in a few bands. Hard instrument, not very many can just sit down and play it. Then again I'm kinda an "odd ball". JC.
  3. When I saw this thread I couldn't resist giving my 2cents. Brockway 359; I always remember seeing them, althought I never got to drive one. Brockway/Mack F-series cab-over. Since both split the same cab, you can interchange parts! Any 60's Ford would also do. Thanks JC
  4. WOW! The first truck I drove was an WT9000. Only it didn't look near that nice, and was an 2 axle/w sleeper. JC.
  5. The tank trailer looks close to an "Heil" type. However, the box and van look like they use the same underframe for both. Do these even match any prototype? JC.
  6. I see alot of these kits springing up and was wondering, 1 how well do they build 2 are the tailers any good? I'm thinking of getting one. Thnaks JC.
  7. I wish to build an late 50's ford truck. I haven't a clue as to where to look for the resin or plastic options. Can anyone help? Thanks JC.
  8. How about Ford pick-ups from years 57-60. I've haven't seen any kits for 61 through the late sities. JC.
  9. Thanks guys, I bought the kit which is missing 8 pices so, I'll problably end up buying another to turn this into an 45-48 footer. Does AMT have an number to get these patrs or,am I out of luck? Isn't it wierd that no one has done a book on trailers and trailer history like they have on tractors? Mabey someday there will be enough interest to publish one. JC.
  10. HI! I'm back from a long break. The question I have is, (there are actually two of them) are the 40 foot flats still in service? Also, can someone give me an general ideal of when 40 foot trailers were replaced by (an time line)45,48, and 53 foot tailers? thanks JC
  11. Bitner, Wow, that looks great! I've got to ask, is that model RR benchwork I see in the photo? J.C.
  12. Other than cars and trucks, I do HO model trains. And, on top of that I'm a musician. I think I've got my plate full J.C.
  13. Ok here's my list. It's kinda eclectic. 60-65 Plymth Valiant or Lancer (I've yet to see one of these) 57-60 Ford PU (my first PU was an 60 Ford) 63 Rambler classsic Any 60's or 70's Brockway diesel would really cool or the Mack F700 coe. JC.
  14. HEY! New here two. I'm 46 (started when I was 4-5)and still buiding. I've tried to quite numoerous times and, it ain't happening. I'm also an model railroader. I really miss those days when models were very prevalent in the five & dimes and AMT had massive line. JC.
