  1. Haven’t seen it in years, but there used to be a mid 90’s Escort Wagon around here that had an Excursion badge on the hatch and a gigantic clamp on tail pipe extension.
  2. Yeah, between these and GM’s new EV SUVs, I’m not sure if the roads over there are big enough. They’re all massive.
  3. Just saw a load of Cybertrucks on my home from work today. Wasn’t that impressed.
  4. I’m astounded that it’s still solid enough to not fall out of it as you’re sitting down into it!
  5. Thought I read somewhere that it was inspired by a car that had no hood sides running at a lake bed and had an engine failure. There were flames coming off the engine and down the sides of the body, which fave somebody the idea.
  6. It would at least help on the skill part, hopefully impart the need to keep the phone and latte in the center console while driving one.
  7. Yeah, I’ve seen videos of wrecks from lack of talent compared to HP or just plain stupidity/entitlement, enough to make me think that a real drivers Ed and/or mandatory high performance driving experience type classes should be mandatory above 200-250hp and/or above 5000lbs.
  8. I’m looking forward to this one!
  9. I’m beginning to think that is a good idea in general, but especially with some of the large, high powered, and heavy vehicles, be it internal combustion or EV. Saw a video about the new Escalade IQ, it’s a full sized SUV that weighs 8600lbs, can reach 60mph in under 5 seconds, and is so large that it’s 24” rims don’t look cartoonishly big on it. Make me a bit nervous to be around one of those or the new Charger EV (5600lbs) and not knowing what kind of driver is behind the wheels of vehicles like that……especially if I’m a pedestrian or I get a bicycle and start riding again.
  10. Possibly, though I nearly got in trouble with only 146hp and FWD with my first car, turbo came on and the car tried ripping the wheel out of my hand.
  11. Funny you said that, as Dad and I were getting into his minivan after buying my second of this kit as well as another Black Beauty Imperial kit, I told him I was probably going to pick more of these Merc kits up as I find them if the price is decent.
  12. I started digging into one of mine yesterday.
