Kaleb
Not sure of the beltway of putting this, but I want to paint wood on the interior of a car. What is the best way to do this?
Kaleb
Wow, that's insane. Do you use decal paper or regular paper and glue it on?

Kaleb
Close to what I want, did you use the "wood" base enamel with streaks of darker brown or the "rust" color?
Aaronw
Artist's oils work well too. There are lots of tutorials online, here is one. http://www.ipmsstockholm.org/magazine/2003/03/stuff_eng_tech_wood_grain.htm
Danger
I have painted wood grain on interiors in the past. I use Tamiya acrylic bottle paint. I lay down a base color of Dark Yellow. I then use Flat Brown and dry brush streaks to represent the darker grain. I let dry for a day or 2 then shoot Clear Orange through my airbrush over the entire surface. Then i hit it with the canned Tamiya TS-13 (Gloss coat). Lastly a very thin dark brown wash blends everything together. Sorry no pics.
