Recommended Posts

Hey gang, I'm here to put the word out about a new model club in the the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. We are called The South Hills Modelers Association, A great club for people young and old, Male or female who truly enjoy building models and participating in special club events. Our model club is not strictly automotive oriented, We welcome and encourage ALL forms of modeling (Boats, Planes, Military, Tanks, Motorcycles, Sci-Fie, Diorama, Etc..) We are currently accepting new club member applications (available at our club meeting). A Positive attitude and member participation is a MUST as these values are the back bone of our new club. Once a new member is accepted, Our club has a list of bylaws in place that each member is required to fallow to maintain membership status. The annual dues for our club is $15.00. Our first club meeting will be held on February 13Th 2012 at Quaker Steak & Lube in the Corvette room at 8pm. (Quaker Steak & Lube is located on Rt 51 South in the South Land shopping center). The meetings will continue be held the second Monday of every month. You are welcome to stop in at any of our meetings to see what we are all about, (There is no obligation to sign up) For complete club information please contact David Henk (Club President) @ 412-469-9680 or e-mail: dhenkils@hotmail.com We are looking forward to a new era of model clubs and also seeing some new faces in the hobby. Thanks for looking & Take care B) Nate V (Club board member)

Hey Tim, I estimate we will have 10 or so eight foot tables for our contest area. Im positive you will find some good deals at our show, I always do.. ;) Since it's your first show, I would recommend you getting there at around 9:00 or 9:30 before it gets busy and all the good bargains are gone, And it will give you time to just walk around and soak it all in. It's a lot of fun. I will be the goofy looking guy at the front door taking care of the admission/raffle. Im sure you will have a good time. :DB) See you there. Take care, Nate

I'll be sticking my head in first thing in the morning. I don't have anything quite ready (maybe the IPMS show in 2 weeks...), and in any event I can't spare the night off work if I were going to come in after working all night, and then work the next night...I would fall asleep at some point. But a couple of hours of catching up with friends and seeing what deals can be dealt B)
