MCM Regular (3/6)

  1. First last lap pass for the win, since 2014. The most boring racing I have ever seen. They need to bring back, full pit stops.
  2. I was also a member of the Revell Master Modelers Club. I still have the booklet that has my name in it.
  3. 1.Aztec 2. Cube, Element, or anything else that looks like a box with wheels. 3. New Fiat 500 4 Chevy Citation 5. Citroen 2CV 6. Anything Mopar before 1965 7. AMC Pacer 8. VW Thing 9. AMC Matador 10. Bullet nose stude
  4. This build comes with a story, which I will tell at the end. It will start another build of a 69 that I a gathering parts for now. Thanks for looking.
  5. I really like the paint color, and overall look of this car.
  6. I can be at that shop in 5 mins. They have a lot of things going on there on Saturday mornings. I'm glad you guys like the Charger. This project is a first for me, I try to over engineer model projects, and end up making a mess. I needed to go in a different direction.
  7. Just moved to West Carrollton. I needed something to do while I am off work. None of my snap kits looked good, so I dug these parts out of the parts box.
  8. I have decided to move this to it's own thread. This model will be a curb side as I am concentrating on paint and stance on this car. This is where I started. Old MPC charger body and interior, with a Johan Superbird chassis pan. The wheels are an experiment (that went way wrong). As you can see the body has been shaved and smoothed. New wheels and better stance. Primer is Rust-o-leum black sandable. (Good stuff in my book) The paint that I used is, Model Master custom lacquer system black. The car has not been polished yet ,but turned out good, I think. Sorry for bad pics. Tell me what you think.
  9. First coat of primer, shot today. I have a few more places to work on.
  10. My brother-in-law, who only drives the older chevy pickups told me that the parts will be same from 87 back into the 60s. I have found that Hollander exchange manuals are a big help. They will cross reference the parts to show what year and model the parts will interchange.
