bonehead23
I always wanted to build one of these, and they re-issued it, however I had to get both the C-600 and LN-8000 kits to do it. I decided to open the big door on the side, and while looking at dollhouse furniture, decided to make a full-service rest room instead of a "parts room". Nobody else has one like it; hot and cold running water, sink, urinal, toilet, towel rack, mirror, Persian rug, posters on the walls, working light ( a doll house ceiling fixture ) powered by a 9-volt battery, everything's plumbed and the idea is you arrive at the track with the supply tank empty, fill it there, turn on the water heater, open the valve, and there ya go, full service. After the race and you wash your hands, drain the main tank and go home. The car on the back is a Predicta with a Willys chassis and engine, '57 T-bird windashield and top. tim boyd
Wow..yet another one. Stephen - Really nicely done!!!. Beyond the two race car combos posted here in the last few days (Stephen's combo, and the one from John Morrow), and my own from the recent covers of Model Cars magazine, there was a really nice C800 Transporter and Trailer done by another builder and posted on the Forum here, about a year and a half ago. It was a really well done replica of the 1/1 scale 1969 Ford Drag Team truck, trailer, and the two Mustang race cars. Perhaps someone can find it and repost it here. UPDATE: - the one I am referring to here, is the one by Steve Prideaux posted directly below....thanks Steve - great model! Anyone else build one or have one underway? Steve Prideaux
Here is a model of the 69 Ford drag team, I built several years ago. Great job Stephen on your truck. The facilities are very well detailed. Edited January 9, 2015 by Steve Prideaux
