’68 Hemi Roadrunner

That '68 Hemi Roadrunner was always THE car I was gonna get right after I got out of high school ( class of '68); what a hot car! ....Man, right after the kids got a bit bigger and I got a REAL job I was gonna get me a nice '68 Hemi Roadrunner. Well...when the kids got on their own I was gonna find me a '68 Hemi Roadrunner...you know, one to fix up for the road and shows. Geezzzzzz...I finally (after 41 years FOUND a '68 Hemi Roadrunner...and it was painted yellow (not the Metallic Blue like I wanted)...and the owner was only asking $23,000 for it this summer!!

Say...maybe I'll just keep my eyes open and locate an AMT '68 Roadrunner kit and build it like the one I was gonna get right after I graduated from high school..:D

Thanks for the memories!!!

Joe

Those carbies look like they fit on there to me.

I just wonder why the positive bat cable is going into the firewall and not down to the starter?

Great job on all of the under hood detail. The upper rad hose looks real.

Great color and application of the exterior paint.

Super all the way around.

The neg. cable should always go to the left head on a Mopar too.
