Revell Buick GNX

Well I got this finished. Left off the exterior decals and the mirrors. With my luck, I would have smeared glue all over body. Painted Duplicolor Nissan Orange Mist Metallic. I know, GNX's are supposed to be black, but I felt like something different. Besides, I have another Grand National in the stash that's molded black. Interior painted Walmart Gray primer with German and neutral Gray accents.

Looks great in Orange Mist! Some BMF would help a bunch, and removal of the engraving on the chassis would improve it as well.

I think GNX's didn't have chrome trim. They had blacked-out trim; or that's what my quick google search said.

Great model, I love that you put its not black as a tag haha

it looks fab. How did you find the kit itself?

Not bad at all. There was a mold mark on either side of the body, but very little flash. Some say the chassis isn't accurate for the GNX, but it makes a very decent looking model.
