Henry... Thank you.

Mike... Thank Mike. I should be getting a lot more work done this week. Mike you are up there in your builds. Heck I wish I could make my own bodies like you...lol

Sflam.... Thank you. I can't wait until that day I can call it completed and see everything together.

Joe... Thank you. You should know that I am nuts by now.... haha as to why I decided to add modifications to the clutch can. The fix was the easiest way I thought but I am just hopingn that once I get primer on it that I will be happy with the radius I sanded in around the whole thing.

Dave... Thank you so much for the kind words... My next post which you will see in a sec is something I needed to say thank you for some information you sent me a while back and how I am making it on this car.

Ok Fellas... I have an early afternoon sneak peak I wanted to share what I was working on for the last hour and half. Got a little bit of a late start at the bench today. I was hoping to be at it much earlier. Anway here is more progress with the transmission. remember it is in the early stages.....

So here is a sneak peak at all of the parts.... I have here parts from Pro-Tech, Future Attraction and RB-Motion.....

Up-close shots of the parts:

Here is what I am working on... The clutch pedal and the linkage. Keep in mind that I have to trim the two Pro-Tech linkages and then I will be soldering the clutch pedal lever and one of the Pro-Tech Brackets to each other. When this is done I think it should look somewhat ok:

I love the way you word this, `should look somewhat ok ` ???? That's crazy detailing, absolute perfection coming together....Do you know how these parts should look, or is this down to good research ? I wouldn't have a clue what a clutch linkage looked like.... ...... . Keep at it mate, looking forward to more........ Lowlife ! !

Bob... Thank you.

Danno... Thank you buddy. You know I need to bust my tail off to get this one done. I keep telling you, I hope to have done by next years Desert Scale. I would love to have it done for this years if possible...lol It will be close for sure I bet... haha

Martin... Thanks man. Part of what I came up with was from a drawing that Dave (Comp1839) sent me. I have seen different funny cars from searching pics but I never had a pic of the army vega funny car that show this so I made the decision to make something look like the drawing Dave gave because I know it would be correct. Here is a shot of it Cheers:

Chris, you should have given me a shout cause I would have sent you another clutch can that is shaped like that. You did a wonderful job transforming the chamfered type anyway. Photobucket is down at the moment so I can't forward a pic, maybe later.

As I sit here trying to put together a photo etch rotor from Crazy Modeler for a Ferrari F50 I look at your clutch can and say "SERIOUSLY"!!! I can barely get my ten thumbs to work together on something fairly simple and you are creating model art. Simply amazing Chris!!

Brad... thank you. I think you know me by now with having to change things up...lol

Tim... Thank you. I have been trying to keep myself on track with the vision i have when this is done. I think Ibkeep raising the bar on myself and having higher expectaions because I want it to look just right.

Mark... I didnt even think of asking you. That would of been the best solution. The funny part is I did t think aboit xhanging it until recently when I started to look at it to plan out what I was going to do to make the clutch linkages I would love to see it when photobucket is back working.

Dave... Thank you. hmm you have me thinking now. I know I am going ti habe to weather the tranny blanket a little to get that worn sorta look like the one pic I have of it.

Jim... thank you. I know the fustrations of working with small pieces. I feel at times I spend more time planing things out figuring it out... mocking things up than i do actually building...lol

Here's the pic I wanted to share earlier. These are right out of the molds. The can in front is the one that would have saved you some time, it is basic like the one you already had and the other behind it is one that I do with all the details in place. With your building skills you got the basic one so you could add those details yourself.

Well its time for another update for all of you. B) I continued working on the transmission clutch pedal and linkages.....

Here is the start of modifying the Pro Tech 1/16th scale Throttle Linkage brackets:

Here is the other Pro Tech 1/16th scale throttle linkage bracket and Future Attractions clutch pedal that I soldered together using Tix Flux and 60/40 solder:

Here is the back side to show the solder joint:

Here is the Clutch mount that will be glued into the bell housing. I made it too short and a soldered and extension in to push it out a little farther:

Here is a mock up of the updated Pieces:
