Funny you should ask, I just had it out last night to reassess where I'm at. My momentum is on my Cannonball build at the moment but I really want to get back to this... if for no other reason than to stoke more interest among other creative builders. I love seeing "outside the box" modeling.

hope to see you back on this build soon. I wish I had something to bring to this, but getting really hard for me to find anytime to build lately. Maybe soon I hope..

Proof that this project is still on the A-list... I had been looking for Chartpak black trim tape for awhile but finally decided to use Tamiya 1/8-inch masking tape painted black. On my way to grab wax paper I saw my electrical tape. I pasted a piece down on the wax paper, eyeballed the width and knifed out several strips the help of a metal ruler.

The canopy. Seemed to work pretty well...

So I continued to outline the cockpit. Worked okay buy I should have sanded the canopy down enough to account for the tape layers.
