My momentum is on my Cannonball build at the moment but I really want to get back to this... if for no other reason than to stoke more interest among other creative builders. I had been looking for Chartpak black trim tape for awhile but finally decided to use Tamiya 1/8-inch masking tape painted black. On my way to grab wax paper I saw my electrical tape. I pasted a piece down on the wax paper, eyeballed the width and knifed out several strips the help of a metal ruler. The canopy. Seemed to work pretty well... So I continued to outline the cockpit.
