Dr. Cranky
Greetings, CRANKYHEADS, here's a last build of the year I snuck in just for good measure. This is painted with REVLON "Mysterious Blue" nail polished and cleared with Model Master top clear gloss coat enamel. A street machine with new Pegasus wheels and low profile tires. Something tells me my love affair with this kit is not over (I've got three more--two gassers and one more street machine--in the works.) Wishing everyone a wonderful Holiday Season and a spectacular New Year, seeing as to if the Mayans (and or Aztecs) were wrong about the world ending and all . . . just enjoy your styrene addiction, that's what we are all trying to do here in the Lab-RAT-ory. Best wishes, Doctor Cranky (and the entire DCL CREW). Edited December 9, 2012 by Dr. Cranky

Bad Apple
Very nice Dr. Cranky! I love these kits also, i have several built but for some reason i seem to be more drawn more to the older Revell HotRod series Willys coupes.

GeeBee
Superb finish on the paintwork, I might give the fingernail polish a go on the Meyer's Manx beach buggy

A.R.C.
Good looking ride Doc. I like it, but isnt it a little shiny for you? I dont see a rust spot or dent anywhere. Merry Christmas to you too.
Dr. Cranky
LOL, don't get too used to all this shiny stuff. You know RUST deep in the Doctor's blood!
James2
If I didn't know better, I'd say ya sent that out to the Yost Body Shop! So far I have resisted building this kit because of the amount of others doing it, but you are not helping me, I like it.
Dr. Cranky
Funny, you mention Yost. I was trying channel him in this build. Of course, the OLD MAN always takes it over the edge when it comes to detailing and wiring. But I'm honored you think the influence is there. CAUSE it is! 72 Charger
love it doc but i think that you missed the chrome trim around the screen!
Dr. Cranky
Nah, I didn't miss it, I just didn't want to cut a piece of smooth clear to put on there. Laziness is my worst enemy.

The Styrene Chemist
She's a real beauty... I see the wheels are turned. 'R they movable? or did you glued them in this position? Man, I think you infected me with the Willy's - virus... Gotta need to check my local hobby store for some kits of these little buggers... Thanks for the wonderful styrene-year DC, happy holiday's and see y'all next year again. THE MAYANS WERE WRONG!!
Dr. Cranky
Thanks, T.V. Yes, the front wheels on the street machine are posable. Which is one of the big things I like about these kits. Glad you are infected. LOL. Keep up your styrene chemistry, both here and on YOUTUBE. Cheers, DC
