Firebird 1993

Just finished a simple project. Sometimes it feel good to do a model without having to solve problems and plan ahead...Well it's was'nt the case with this one, the front sits too high and the wheels sticks out of the fenders...That being solve, the model was painted with the correct GM colour code from Scale Finishes. I tinted the roof and the backlight clear cover with Testors smole spray decanted and shot with an aitbrush, this is the only way to acheived reasonable results...

I love thos model and I'm planning to build some more in the future with polpular colours we were use to see on the road...

The color is great! I'm happy to see another 1993 FiBi on the forum.

I read about the front wheel, that sticks out of the fender. I bet, that this is a problem of the kit. I built the 1993 Firebird and 1993 Trans Am. Both by AMT and both have the "sticking" wheel. Both :( The 1993 Camaro by AMT too. Same base, same problem.

Like I wrote: I like your Bird. The color is cool and unusual. Well done!

What's your next project?

My God, I working on many kits at the same time, that allows the paint and glue to fully cure, this way I avoid mistakes... The nest one to come out of the shop will be a resin Corvette GTP and after Fireball Robert 57 Ford...

THANKS ALL for the nice comments. I am thinking about starting the 25th anniversary Firebird soon...
