  1. Yea but it's kind what I've always built was along the touring/ street machine builds. Mild customs things like that. It's coming together. Slowly. Hard to find time these days.
  2. It is... I try to make every build more detailed and better quality. Thank you!
  3. Slow going on progress, but getting things done. Got the dodge srt demon hood scoop roughed in. And started the frame. More to come!
  4. Awesome works looks amazing! I'll be following this build!!! Truly inspiring!
  5. Thanks. You understand what I was saying. The intent wasn't to offend. And yes I left a few times and it's been a long time since I built anything, but I got a lot of inspiration at the ATL show! And I'm happy to be back building! And thank you to everyone on this thread for posting links to builds I was looking for!
  6. Very cool! And I build the same way lot of kit bashing but a lot of scratch too... and I hope no one is taking the start of this thread as If I were bashing anyone, wasn't my intentions. I don't think any of you guys did, this seems to be a decent forum of decent level headed ppl. It just seems I don't see as much stuff like back in the day. I know there are people out there building and doing builds that are mind blowing and I want to find them. They are inspiring and make me strive to build better! I love the 3d stuff! And I know how to use CAD it's something I'm I'm looking into. Printers are kind of expensive though lol.
  7. This is awesome!!! Idk I just didn't feel like I said as much of this type of craftsmanship at the atl show as I used to other the shows. It was a fun show and there were many beautiful builds. Many! And I got a lot of inspiration at the show, to the point that I came home and broke out an old build from 15-20 years ago to redo! I just didn't see stuff like we used to ya know?
  8. I was looking at your 29 Ford build yesterday. Beautiful! You just don't see this craftsmanship anymore it seems. I find that odd... I would have thought it's gotten waaay better in the past 20 years. More than it has... ya know? And that was the purpose of this whole thread. Lol I just find it all very interesting where things have gone and what's being done and what's winning shows these days.
  9. Thanks!! I'm leaning toward the HOK candy tangerine as well... buuuut I may spray a test panel of some candy teal... maybe do a candy teal and pearl white this time. Not sure yet.
  10. This is what I'm talking about! Very few ppl work with brass anymore. Seems everyone just 3d prints stuff, though the 3d stuff is nice... where I the skill? Where is the ability to build and fabricate?
  11. I don't think I ever met tim... I know my dad has mentioned him and I've seen his builds he is awesome. Amazing detail again someone I strive to build like.
  12. Yes this was very nice! And Clay does amazing work! I voted for this car! This was 1 of the few cars to the detail I'm used to seeing at shows. But it used to be EVERY car in EVERY class was like this or very close to it! It's not anymore it seems. Maybe I just wasn't seeing it. Idk... the 40 Ford delivery that took home a trophy was very nice as well! 1 of my favorite. Cars was the corvet that randy built!! That was amazing and what I used to see back in the day!
  13. Well point me in that direction sir! Give me some threads to look at and follow the authors!! Pleeeaaaase!
