I want some steel wheels with little trim rings , baby moons and for tires I'm looking for some piecrust wide wall slicks and wide whites for the front. can someone point me to what kits to plfer? Matt T. Posted April 9, 2007 Share Posted April 9, 2007 Vince, get one of the Revell "Rat Rod" kits, like Tom mentioned. They have 16" '40 Ford steel wheels with nice trim rings & caps. For the slicks, try the Revell '64 T-bolt kit, since the rear wheels in that kit are 16" also. It has blackwall slicks you can paint whitewalls on, or leave as-is. And if you want a deeper steel wheel than the Rat Rod offering, the T-bolt comes with that option too. Post some progress pics when you can!
