Evilbenny
I built this Van early last year thinking I would enter it into Dr. Cranky's post apocalyptic themed build but never did. These types of vehicles are fun to build when you have a case of builders block. I started with an AMT A Team van. I used sheet styrene for armor plate and Evergreen strips for the bumpers. The finish is Tamiya acrilic air brushed over salt and a coat of rubbing alcohol from a spray bottle. The alcohol gives it a nice sun fade look. I used brass mesh for the windows. Evilbenny
I used household rubbing alcohol after the paint dried and all the salt was washed away. The effect works best on flat acrylic paint.
