What Is Your Top 10 List of Ugliest Cars Ever?

Recommended Posts

As a spin off of the other thread, what is your Top 10 list of ugliest cars ever produced?

Of course, this is a subjective list. Let's not get too worked up over each other's lists, and don't have hurt feelings if someone lists your personal 1:1 ride on their list.

Here is mine, in no particular order:

1. Suzuki X-90

2. Suzuki Sidekick, late 90's

3. AMC Matador

4. Nissan Juke

5. Nissan Cube

6. Toyota Box (the first square body models)

7. Nissan Quest vans (the latest body looks like a hearse to me!!)

8. Nissan full size vans (the latest body/models)

9. Toyota Echo (anyone remember these early models?)

10. Dodge Colt Vista wagon( early to mid-90's...was this a Mitsubishi with a Dodge emblem?)

What is on your list???

Since autos have been produced for over 100 years, it would take a lot of study of archive photos to pick out the al-time ugliest ever produced. In my case, I'll limit it to cars that I've had some personal experience or "Close Encounters of the Third Kind".

Here's mine, in order of UGLIEST first...

1) Pontiac Aztec

2) Nissan Cube

3) '61 Dodge Dart/Plymouth Valiant

4) Chrysler minivan (especially the early ones)

5) '96 - '99 Ford Taurus (my family actually owned one; very dependable, but the front end look like a catfish staring at you in the driveway)

6) AMC Gremlin

7) AMC Pacer

8) '73 Datsun B210

9) 1980s Cadillac Seville "Turtleback"

10) Citroen 2CV

Ugly?

#1 with a bullet (ok, perferrably a whole clip, or a straffing run by a Warthog); Murano Convertible!

#2; Elio Motors 3 wheeler

#3; All three Nissan Vans (including the new New York Taxi)

#4; Crossover anything, I'd prefer a minivan over any of those!

#5; Chevy SSR, just can't stand the looks, sorry.

#6; VPG MV-1 Mobility vehicle, great idea, horribly ugly :(

#7; Buick Encore, "Honey I Shrunk the Enclave!"...................think I may have just shown my age there

#8; Early Subary Tribeca....Edsel Pt2, didn't mind them after the nose job though!

#9; BMW X6/Honda Accord Crosstour/Acura ZDX..........now I like hatchback sedans, but not when spliced with crossovers

#10; Toyota Camry, don't matter which year, they're all forgetable, dull appliances......and good at blocking the passing lane though...........

My Top 10 Ugliest Cars Ever (in no order of favour):

1.) Murano

2.) Cube

3.) Lamborghini's [sp] newer designs

4.) Ferrari's newer designs

5.) 1991-1992 Caprice (only because of those squared-off rear wheel openings !)

6.) 1968-1969 El Camino ( only because , IMO , the front clip doesn't flow with the rest of the vehicle. Conversely , I absolutely adore the Chevelle / Malibu of the same years !)

7.) 1969-1973 Mustang Grande Coupe . That hardtop roof does not make any sense !

8.) Any of Boyd's custom builds --( }}wince{{ )--

9.) Jerry Brown's Prius

10.) All of the delivey vehicles at work

The Sidekick you have pictured isn't bad.It is a little surprising how popular those are. The one I was referring to is the four door wagon/SUV version...what is it? A 5 passenger? With all that glass?

I don't see any way to stick a 3rd person in the back seat.

Maybe throw one in the way back.. :D

1997 4dr SideKick.

American motors.

Chrysler.

Yes. All of them. Every single car, made by every single manufacturer either one of those corporations ever had even remotely anything to do with.

I hate them, and would like to crush every one of them.

Nice to see someone with such a well thought out and rational opinion...
