Bruce Poage
My next project will probably be a '53 Ford Sedan Delivery. I have the R & R resin body and the Lindberg kit. Maybe a DeSoto grill. Maybe Pegasus T's bigs and littles. If you have worked on either of these I would appreciate any of your "words to the wise". Thanks. Steve D.
Lindberg kits got a bad reputation from thier older releases of air craft , ship models and car kits . Just prior to them going out of business they finally figured out how to produce a decent car kit . I mean , thier kits improved to the point they were as good as the Rev/Mon releases . The'66' Chevelle , Crown Vic ,'67' 442 , 330 Super Sport , and there were a few more that were released right at the end that were equally as impressive . The problem was by the time the modeling public figured out how good these kits were , the company was gone . If Lindberg had another year or so , thier last series of kits were good enough to maybe save the company ? Oh well one will never know . But yes , that kit builds up nicely , and is an excellent candidate to be chopped , chanelled , sectioned , lowered , frenched , or what have you . Out of the box , in stock form this car could be a winner . Don't be afraid of all Lindberg kits , thier last releases were pretty sweet !!!! Hope this helps , Take care and see you around the club house , Steve D.

Harold
The '53 Ford is another of my all time favorite kits. It practically builds itself, and the decal sheet is downright impressive. Enjoy.
flatheadgary
hi guys. i just wanted to say that the '53 ford was my first car when i was 15. i recently bought the model to build a replica of it. i am glad it builds well. the 1-1 car went from a stocker to a blown olds powered straight axle, engine setback, olds rearend, 11.00-16 slicks and full race car. i have thought about finding another and building it the same way again.
