I've been looking for a motorhome kit in 1/24 or 1/25 scale. I couldn't find one that I liked. Really, I couldn't find one. So then I thought to make one. Even though they're really quite boxy, (the style I'm looking for, think Winnie Brave/Indian) it's too many corners for me to deal with. Enter this: the Saab 92h. Built on a Saab 92 chassis! Zero corners, so looks easy enough to replicate. And the roof is streamlined! The sides are flat! Everything is flat! I estimate I could make it with five big pieces of styrene. I have never seen it for real myself but I followed the rescue and the restoration of of both of these Saab motorhomes. Really two unique creations.
