realgone58
I sold my 1:18 version by Yatming, and picked up this 1:24 version by Franklin Mint. Grabbed it on the 'Bay, no box, described as very nice displayed condition. Total was under $40 bucks delivered. It showed up better than I expected. I did have to give it a bath to clean some dust out, and gave it a nice polishing with some wax. Nothing broken or missing, and no damage! Although after I took these pics, I did notice a couple of door handles that I could straighten out a bit. This particular model is in factory Waltz Blue metallic. Was very happy to add this one to my display case.
Harry P.
Very cool. Love that color (it was Mrs. Tucker's favorite color). The only drawback is that FM always had huge panel gaps... DM was much better at tight, in-scale panel gaps. But regardless, that's a beautiful model, and for $40 you can't go wrong.
realgone58
I noticed that Harry. Really big gaps around the doors. Danbury actually did the first prototype, the one they called the "Tin Goose". I actually like the looks of that car better. (both 1:1 and as a model), but they run significantly higher than these Franklins.
