Back on the Bench! CBP

I really thought that this Community Build would be way more popular than this!

That is mostly my fault. I started this to jump start myself and get me working on my stalled projects. But alas, this year has not been good for bench time. I'm currently finishing up a move and should be getting the workshop set up in a couple of weeks. I HAVE to finish up my Cannonballer so I'll be getting this CBP rolling again even if I'm the only one posting.

I've been having similar things. No time this last few months, Still want to get my '32 5 Window finished among the rest on my list.

Soon it will be too cold to put full days in on my 1:1 Model Project (at least that's the way I look at it) and I'll be back at the bench.

The pics don't show it well but that there is Testors One Coat Lacquers - White Lightning, straight from the can over white Krylon primer. This is the first time I've used it and I must say I'm impressed. It has an excellent shine. After a couple days it's getting BMF'd and the flame decals from the Revell 49 Merc. Time to get moving on the interior.

I'm also plugging away on the Jolly Roger gang so expect more soon.

Happy to be here. Some great builds in this thread, keep 'em coming!

I will post pictures of the builds I'll be building. The First one I'll post here is '32 Ford Bonneville Racer. I'm building it from glue bomb Ford and it will have Flathead V8. It's chopped, sectioned and channeled so far, that tracknose is from Revell '29 Ford Pickup kit.

It is stalled because of interior, which needs to be sectioned too.

I was also thinking of shortening the nose a bit. Now it looks like Freight Train to me.

That looks very good. I like that color also. I have used it on 3 builds including the hot rod I am putting the finishing touches on.

Long time ago and reminded in another thread, i will take a resume to my first post:

There are some nice builds. The Stude with all the "sportoutfit" will come great. I like the Panamerica-Style.

What is traveling from my bench to shelf....
- Tamiya Mercedes Benz DTM "Berlin 2000" as memory for my girlfriends birthplace
- imc Dodge A100 with Deliveryvan Resinbody
- bundle of Johan Turbinecars (1st/3rd issues)
- amt 65 Buick Rivera
- Revell Beach Bonanza (my first ever build kit)
in loooonger parkposition in the shelf
- monogram Ford F-350 duallie PU with scratchmade rollback
- galaxy trailer
- amt 63 Impala (ratlook)
- Tamiya Nissan Fairlady Z (problems with the paint)
- Fujimi Porsche 356 since years
- Revell VW T1 Samba (barnfind, all doors cut out)
- Tamiya 1995 Honda Odyssey (my dailydriver, already painted)
- Italeri Scania 580

Oha....looks bad. And always see an other kit and get tickling fingers...

Done! o.k. - all in more than a year. Not as bad as i thought...

I have completed several that were never posted on this thread as well. The '49 is still haunting me though. I have scrapped the body and have picked up a AMT '50 Ford convertible kit, to complete the project. Someday.
