sectioned Merc

i would like to give sectioning a go one day..... looks like its a pretty good start, What are your plans for wheels, interior and colour? I cant wait to see more.

do it! thanks! im thinking about using an entire boss 429 chassis, perhaps even the magnum 500 wheels. grabber orange? never know! i may wimp out on the interior lol

so i have attached some strips to the sectioned seam area for strength, i felt the chop was high in the back so i cut the b and c pillars a bit, i decided on a boss 302 for a donor car, stretched the frame/floorpan, i attached the bottom of the body back together

Great job on the sectioning. Dont know what you are using for glue but for big projects like this I use Ambroid Proweld. It melts the two pieces together perfectly and is very strong!

Keep going I like what you are doing!

i have not heard of this Ambroid stuff, i will get some! thanks!
