Luis Ayala Posted January 10, 2008 Share Posted January 10, 2008 (edited) Well 2007 is gone and I still have a couple of things in the work bench that didn't make it through. I decided to put them aside for now and start a fresh project that I already had in mind for a while, the 1955 BMW-507. This is a very nice kit and I am sure it will be very fun to build. The body is already painted, polished and so far I started to work on the engine. The paint is the original 1955 color "Signal Red" wich I had it mix at a local automotive paint store. Thank you all for your comments!!!!! Hi Kelson, I am using the kit instructions for the assembly, but I also have reference material and pics from the web. It took me a couple of days to get what I needed to start. If you do a"google" search and select "images" you will get lots of reference pics. Hope it helps... The paint really came out nice, this is my second attempt with this enamel automotive paints and this time I didn't used the hardener. It landed very smooth and dryed in about two days with a decent shine. The polishing wasn't as difficult as I expected so it took me just a couple of hours to get it done.
