lanesteele240
I had an idea to build a Halloween car. My idea was to make a car that the booger man might drive. I started with the Revell 55 chevy pro street and a old star wars pod racer. I cut and hacked together two of the pods jets to make one jet that was the lenght of the car. Then i tubbed out the tubs to make room for the jet. Had to cut out the trunk and transmission tunnel. I am going to flat black every thing and do a full monty carbon wrap on the outside. I may put red leds in the jet to give it that spooky look. May also put red leds in the headlights. So. What do you think a good name for this should be? lanesteele240
Got the simi gloss on the body in prep for the carbon fiber. Painted the jet with stainless metalizer. Washed it with black and hit the tubes with some gold leaf. All that was toned down with some titanium metalizer. Got a few more tubes and dodads to add on. Daf57
Cool idea! Love the imagination! Reminds me of the old urban myth/Darwin Award story about the guy, the car and the JATO! lanesteele240
I just could not leave the kit decals off the model. I love decals. They are my favorite part of doing a model. It does take away from the theam a bit though.

crazyrichard
thats soooo cool personally i would have loved the flat black with those decals better but thats just taste , pretty cool job on the cf decalling , i know it bends well when heated but on this scale it must be a challenge
lanesteele240
Not much room for any interior items. I have to cut the seat down to get it in there. The roll cage of this kit was a challenge. Especially since i cut many of the locators off making room for the jet.
