Wheels
I finished this a while back but never posted it on this forum. I mated AMT's Dodge Duallie snap kit with Modelhaus' utility body. I added a vise to the bumper from Replicas & Miniatures of Maryland, an R&D Unique air compressor which needed to be shortened to fit inside the body Gas engine was added to the air compressor. I made a hose reel from evergreen srcaps and a replacement sewing machine bobbin (my wife's idea, and 2 for less than a $1 @ Wal-mart) Heres one in progress photo before primer. Oxygen and Actcetylene bottles added. Hosted on Fotki A water cooler, hydraulic cylinder (Cat D8 dozer), chain, fire extinguisher Hosted on Fotki Real mud was added to the tires. Parts box decals added. Hosted on Fotki A laptop was added to the interior. Hosted on Fotki Hose reel with air hose and impact gun added. Hosted on Fotki This was a fun model to build! crazyjim
Looks terrific, Mark. You want to think about adding lines to the oxygen and actcetylene bottles. I believe those tanks are supposed to be painted a specific color - green and orange, respectively.
