Studio 27 is doing a multi-media 1/24 "kit" of the 919 Porsche.

Yes it is available at mshobbies for $189.00. I wish I had that to spend, love the car. I am hoping if Porsche or Toyota win Lemans we will get a kit of it. i would be happy with a curbside.

Looking at these WEC cars...they all look the same, well, at least the Nissan and the Porsche do. Becomng like F1 maybe? All those cars look alike to me.

Those cars are called prototypes, and share similar body characteristics, so in same ways, yes, they might all look like.

Under the skin is another thing. The Nissan is front engine, front wheel drive, with a KERS system than can make it four wheel drive when necessary.

These cars are not the same and there is so much going on you have to read up on the new rules. The technology is amazing and it will contribute to cars we drive in the future, which is more than you can say about the stuff NASCAR runs, V8's all the same size

Porsche- V4 turbo- gas AWD

AUDI- V6 Turbo- diesel AWD

Toyota- V8 -gas AWD

Nissan- V6 twin turbo - gas FWD

all hybrids.
