vypurr59 Posted September 13, 2012 Share Posted September 13, 2012 I put 1 of these together a long time ago, I used super glue CA on the wires after passing them through the top plate, then used epoxy to assemble the top plate to the lower "barrel". there may be other ways to do this, but it got the job done and is still on that model to this day. george 53 Posted September 13, 2012 Share Posted September 13, 2012 This is EXACTLY why I use the dizzy's from MAD. they are PRE wired, and for the price, you WILL NOT find a nicer more detailed unit anywhere! just glue the cap to the base and install. Each wire has its own hole and, each cap has the detail of the real thing. Separate towers for each plug, just like the REAL caps, any color como for wires, and a great price. They are fiddly to build but look really nice when completed, they have been around for a long time and when they came out were probably the nicest piece out there but the MAD units look great and are super easy to use. In the directions, they tell you to cut your wire into 8 2inch lengths, but it will make your life a lot easier if you cut it into 4 4inch long pieces, fold in half and then slide the wire through 2 holes on the "cap".
