MadKaw6 Posted November 14, 2012 Share Posted November 14, 2012 This a car that was driven by R W Glenn in the 70s at Auburndale and Lakeland here in Florida. The body is from an original AMT kit. It had been built as a drag car at onetime and couldn't be restored stock so no worries that any vintage plastic was harmed. I hand painted the lettering. The chassis and suspension are mostly scrachbuilt. The engine is a 250 six cylinder with a crossflow head. It is scratchbuilt with the exception of the block and valve cover. I like the little details, like the red overspray on the support bars....exactly the way it would've been done. As a short track fan, I love it!!
