bbowser
OK, so I'm not a big JJ fan at all. I'm afraid he's been stinking up the circuit for awhile now. But give the devil his due, you don't get to be a 5 time champ by being a chump! And I guess I need this car in my collection for that reason. This is the first (and probably only) AMT snapkit that I've built. Went together pretty well with some tips I've seen on this and other boards. I may have to pick up one of the newer AMTkits, that wing is just awful. Maybe do a Carl Edwards car if he can pull it off this year? Thanks for looking. Truck parts
Nice looking car, but I was not a fan of the wing.Glad to see it go.
Bill J
Nice one. I too am not a JJ fan and the wing is funky looking. Seeing how nice your's came out it makes me almost regret not buying the one I saw today at Hobby Lobby for $8.99 on clearance. I did make a Dale Jr. one and a Jeff Gordon, got them on the $14.99 deal.
bbowser
Yeah, I grit my teeth paying $22 at the local hobby shop for a snap kit, but support the local economy, right?
MarkJ
You can get them at hobby Lobby with the 40% off coupon for 8.99 plus tax. I bought two of them and plan to fix the front end to eliminate the struts and make my own rear spoiler and shark fin. i will also fix the quarter panels to be even with the front of the rear wheel opening like the current 2011 cup cars. Great job on your build bbowser.
