No lift axle YET so there's nothing to put those two wheels & tires on.

raildogg
I like it, one question though, where did you get the day cab and how much did it cost?. I am interested in getting a day cab for next build, but I'm not a fan of the great bulging roof of the sleeper. Looking forward to following this build. Dave Metzner
Dave Carey does offer a daycab for LoneStar. I can't shed any light on price. I do have one here and it looks like an injection molded part! very nicely done! Dave

ARTEMIS1759
Boy, I would fire that guy that works in the shop. He seems to stand around quite a bit and you do all the work. Good progress though.

Good progress though. You mean that fat guy with the hat and glasses? You can't do that! That's Jackson, he's a truck driver for a small scale truck fleet that owns a whole fleet of Peterbilts and he's a Peterbilt addict. He usually hangs around another well known workbench. He visits other places now and then to get a feel of what's going on in the business, that's all... Edited August 14, 2012 by BigBad

Jackson goes back several years now, is the resident supervisor of CanAm Garage, which is located on the Vermont/Quebec border. He's quite the traveler, and has been to that Peterbilt "addict's" shop a couple of times. he's been on just about every continent now except for Antarctica, (not very model builders down there), being hosted by modelers, who have shown him the sights--been to numerous model car contests and NNL's in the bargain. Jackson usually hangs out over on the Spotlight Hobbies Message Board, but does visit here sometimes. Art
