  1. Beautiful work. Now I have to find me one of those original F&F convertibles.
  2. I'm afraid the wind has blown off most of my hair over the years, but I'll look forward to seeing you again, Howard. Been quite a while!
  3. Well Ken, I won't need a name tag to recognize you since we're driving together, but I may not recognize anyone else next weekend. Ha!
  4. Actually, Revell Monogram was sold by Binney & Smith to Jody Keener who then sold it to John Long who then sold it to Hobbico. And in the early '90s, it was decided to switch the car models from 1/24th to 1/25th because it made more sense and the modelers were more interested in 1/25th. Only the NASCAR kits remained 1/24th, of course. I'm bummed that the '85 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham I had been working on with Ed Sexton probably won't be produced now. Oh well.
  5. "I made a trip out to Dean Milano's museum after seeing what seemed like years of his ad in the model mags. We live in cedar rapids, iowa (three hours from the museum). " Hey, I remember the day you made that trip from Iowa. It was great meeting you and nice to know that one of the few who visited still remembers. Thanks!
  6. I just finished up an original '61 Starliner kit I bought back in 1975. Rescued it from a badly painted, customized built-up. I tried to post a picture of it, but I'm not sure if it worked. Hmmmm.
  7. Hey, I actually got mentioned over here. Pretty cool! So what am I doing hanging out over at Spotlight Hobbies for? BTW, my earliest model car hero was a fellow named Olaf Wahl. There have been many more since then. Dean Milano
  8. Billy, looks like you've got the old Palmer/Premier Cordoba. The Lindberg version is a bit smaller, but it's a much nicer kit.
  9. Someone had askded me about my Model Car Museum. The museum is now closed, but it is all still online at my website, so if anyone is interested in taking a look, here 'tis: http://www.toys-n-cars.com/ Thanks! Dean
