Don't think I've added to this amazing thread. Some great builders on here.

I must have missed it that you finished the Altered Ego! It's really fantastic work! I will have to dig out the actual build thread to see more.

I agree with Ray, fantastic stuff! You build very clean models and it would be an impossible task to find mistakes from them. But I also like the color combinations, especially that Red & Gold combo on that '55 Chrysler works perfectly. Really nice work and keep these coming!

Check out the "slot car" section too. It runs the 1/4 in .988 at 66mph

Woooowww that's fast for a slot car. I ran my friends Womp Womp from Parma Hobby at like 2.3 and change going 30-35ish. And I thought that was fast.

DSCF7488-1.jpgI did this model around 1990... The chassis was made from Evergreen styrene, with a front axle assembly from Revell parts pack ( I wish they would reissue those again my supply has dried up). Hand made aluminum body, with dry transfer lettering. Rear wheels are from AMT's 32 Coupe, the front tires and wheels, I think they are from a Garlits dragster. The Olds engine is an AMT from the 40 Ford sedan. I don't recall where the intake came from, but I do remember making all the linkage from aluminum sheet and piano wire, that was quite a chore. Paint is Dupli-Color for the body, and Testers flat silver for the chassis components.
