Randytheroadrunner
Has anyone ever built the cars from the movie Hollywood Knights? Turk's El Camino and Pie Wagon, the Rail Job, the police car, or Jimmy Shine's '61 Ford? Jantrix
I've seen the '57 done a few times as one of the many incarnations of Hot Rods Project X. But that's about it.
slusher
Very sharp cars but I have not seen any built...
Joe Handley
I'm digging that '40!
Greg Myers
The '57's on my list. I first thought of doing it in large scale, 1/12, then not so large 1/16th. Now I'm thinking more 1/25th. The iteration has me stumped. How many different versions were there? Small block, Big block, blown etc. I don't likt the latest version that GM did, too flashy for me. I grew up watching in change (test) in the monthly issue of PHR. Edited December 16, 2013 by Greg Myers
Ramfins59
Wow, I haven't seen that movie in a very, very long time. I've never seen any models of the cars in the movie.
Nitro Neil
There were two models from that movie at the L.I.A.R.S. show in November. I don't know who built them..
Craig Irwin
I've seen a few 65 ElCaminos with the arm........
Scale-Master
I don't recall them ever showing "the rail job". It is discussed a couple times, but I don't think there was a car portraying it.I did a Pie Wagon, but used a panel truck instead of a panel car. Dave Van
I love movie cars....built the 57 but there was no post car back in the day.....but mine was close!
Randytheroadrunner
The "Rail Job" was a Fad T with long front frame rails. They only show it in the race with the Cobra. I'd like to make the '56 Pie Wagon, a friend of mine lives in Boston, and says he sees the real thing at car shows all the time.
Mercman
I built one that is close to this one. Jimmy's GF's car.

hpiguy
Great flick. I'd love to see the Newbomb's Pie Wagon as a 3n1 kit with decals (so someone could build it as a plain delivery too or a dragger). And have a little figurine of Fran Drescher in the back. Greg Myers
I don't see it as anything more than a Fad Tee that was missed named in the movie. "Rail Job" something built on rails , as in frame rails. and then these Edited December 24, 2013 by Greg Myers

Terminator-Fox
Too bad project X was ruined in the last re-do. What happened to it? It went through a ton of makeovers and swaps. I'd love to build a Project X like above. Awesome
