MikeyB08
I'm curious about polishing Enamel. I have a very strong love relationship with Rust-Oleum paint. I can get it to lay smooth without much aggravation. Now, I'm still looking for the "Mirror Finish" paint job. Of course I use Rust-Oleum Crystal Clear Coat. Any ideas as far as polishing enamel? martinfan5
Polshing paint is same for every type of paint, its just how you go about it that can be different Because everyone has different ways to polish, here is a very good walk through on it http://italianhorses.net/Tutorials/PerfectPaint/paint.htm

Quick GMC
Enamel is easy to polish. I sand with 1500 if needed, otherwise 3200 micromesh and up, then polish with a compound. I use Duplicolor engine enamel
