1970 charger restored to greatness

A little over a month ago came across this original 1970 mpc charger that was built up to look like a general Lee wannabe. For $10.00 I couldn't pass it up. It has since had a roadrunner chassis, engine bay,and tires pot on. It isn't a show winner but it looks way better than it did a few months ago.

Here's the starting point.

Beautiful save and restoration! I think you can find the 1:1 version of this same car on the front cover of the November 2014 issue of Hemmings Muscle Machines magazine, except that 1:1 has a White vinyl roof and facory luggage rack on its trunk lid. According to that article, this color combination of Sublime with a White interior was getting quite rare on 1970 Chargers.
