  1. I was looking in Micromark and saw a few models for a reasonable price and thought I would share. https://www.micromark.com/new-items-closeout/closeouts/custitem_type_facet/1-SLASH-24-Scale,1-SLASH-25-Scale,Unassembled-Kit?new-items-closeout%25252525252525252525252525252525252525252525252Fcloseouts=
  2. This is looking great! I'm looking forward to seeing it in color! Dave
  3. I'm not sure what shape tanks you are looking for but I have used regular and small BIC lighters (they need to have any pressure removed from inside) and PVC pipe or copper pipe. The PVC or copper have open ends but you can use some old simple hubcaps for the ends. Dave
  4. I got a bit further on this. One more priming and I think it’s good for finish. I also got the hinges on the rear door. Dave
  5. Picked this one up to build for a friend who had one back in the day. Dave
  6. I did a bit more work on this. Smoothed out the body (it likely will need more body work). I used stained and sealed coffee stirrers for the floor. I'm also working on rear door hinges. Looking to paint it a metallic black, but I have to make sure the body work can support black. Being that the vehicle is powered by a V8 and the bug doesn't have a front grill, I had to make one. I think it looks pretty good. I also added tires and Cragar wheels. Thanks for looking. Dave
  7. I really like the hot rod sleigh! Dave
  8. Absolutely a beautiful job! I love that it has lots of scratchbuilding! I found that white shoelaces dyed in tea makes for a good firehose as well as the folded cloth you used. Dave
  9. Thanks again for all your nice comments! Dave
  10. Thanks everyone for all your kind comments! Dave
  11. Very nice! I love those Belvideres! My Dad had a '65 Belvidere wagon when we were kids. Dave
  12. Very nice! The '40 Ford delivery is killer! Dave
  13. Beauties! I love the T-Bird! Dave
