FASTBACK340
This car was damaged in transit from an on-line auction purchase. Customer decided "screw it, paint the whole car". This was stripped to the shell and re-painted top to bottom and all the mistakes corrected. It's an original V code 44-6bbl, 4 speed, Dana, Air Grabber hood. Nice car. The gentleman who owns this car is picking it up Monday and dropping off his `68 Coronet for some minor cosmetic repairs. This winter it's getting dropped off for a possible Hemi and Tremec 5 speed upgrade, along w/ discs & suspension modifications. Can't wait! FASTBACK340
And it pulls like a freight train! My boss always tells us "Beat on them a bit! That's what the customer is going to do. If something breaks, let US break it and NOT the customer!." So I was forced to go through the gears like Ronnie Sox and make sure "Nothing broke". My boss drove it home yesterday and my cell phone didn't ring (yet….) so I guess it's going home tomorrow. And the customer drops of the NEXT one we're doing; `68 Coronet with no fender tag or build sheet. This one he might want a 6.1 Hemi swap. Details to follow…..
