  1. Guess I'm late to the party on here regarding "Mr. Scott." I am on one aspect saddened by the situation of many being taking advantage of, Yes, I am one of them, only for one kit though, guess I'll deduct it as a Donation to his retirement fund? I've read his posts on his Facebook page, afterall, I am a FB Fanatic. I've also come to the conclusion that the money is gone, and there is a probably disconnection from reality there. Since his pursuit is to connect with model car builders, I have had to remove him from our Facebook Pages "Model Car How To's, Model Car EVENTS, Model Car AFTERMARKET, and NNL East Facebook Friends." We want to minimize the damage at this point. Bottom line is not one piece of plastic has been developed or delivered. $45 to me is not really a big deal these days, I'll jus' go hoard another kit. I sympathize with those who have lost money, those who also used to believe, or still currently believe in his ability to produce a totally new kit. He would've been far better off aligning himself with an experienced Resin Caster like say Jimmy Flintstone. Or trying to sell the project to Mobius, Meng, R2, Model King, et. al. However, maybe he did, and they found him not quite in today's reality. I'm selling some land in Florida currently being occupied by Pink Elephants in case anyone is interested, and Sasquatch was seen hanging out with Elvis. Yours in the Sprue, John
  2. THANKS for remembering us Glue Crue Gangs, updated our contact info above. JP
  3. Hey Jeff, None that I know of, Our "Adirondack Glue Crue" is the last of the dinosaurs, many thought we faded away, nahhhhh, we just got older. Heard about the mafia you mentioned, nothing since they posted a flyer a few years ago down here at Mohawk Valley Railroad. There are a few builders around here, I know a couple that travel south to the Newburgh MCC Meetings. Sorry we couldn't help more! John John Papp Adirondack Glue Crue

  5. Anyone have a website or information on how to order/contact "Mad Mudder" Tires? Thanks, John Papp Adirondack Glue Crue
  6. Yeah, Still recovering from the Sprue Flu, we also had a FANTASTIC Time, and our Hats are off to the Gang at TSSMCC. We're a part of the real early days of NNL East, been back in '06 and now '08. This show just keeps getting better and better. And we get a little older too I guess. Already dreaming up plans for '09 & '10! While it was all about the Plastic (& Resin), I think seeing old friends like Ken Hamilton, Rick Hanmore, Carl Pomponio, Matt Trotta, Eric Rudy, Vinnie LoBosco, Chuck Stark, Mike Callan, and the Gang Speaking French (Globe 25), is what this happenin' is all about. Meeting up with Friends. . . . and remembering those who have departed our ranks such as Joe Cavorley, John Slivoski & Paul Skoda. This past weekend was the BEST time we've had a Model Car Event since our "Adirondack Glue Crue" Daze. Special Thanks to Tom, Ken and the TSSMCC Gang for a GREAT Event!
  7. Thanks Bill, It looks like we may "Try" to get some of Paul's Nationally Winning Models together for a special Display at the 2008 NNL East in his honor. Yours in the Sprue, John
  8. OK, it's an old request, looking for any detail shots of Tyrone Malone's Super Boss Drag Truck. Can you help? Yours in the Sprue, John
  9. Hi Gang, I'm looking for any input on building and detailing Tyrone Malone's Super Boss Drag Truck, I know it's a rare kit, and really shouldn't be building it considering the value. Heck with that, I'm a builder first. In the Sprue, John
  10. Hi All, It is with deep sadness that we must let you know that our Friend and fellow Model Car Enthusiast, Paul Skoda of Rotterdam, New York passed away from a stroke. Paul was a devoted Father, and artist of the truest sense. He leaves behind his Wife and best friend of 32 years, Terry, and two daughters. His Model Car Legacy started back in the late '60's having won many awards at the New York City "Car Model" Sponsored national events. In the Eighties, he became of an integral part of the World Reknown "Adirondack Glue Crue," with a devotion to pushing the envelope of Artistry of our Awards, and in his building having created such unbelievable projects such as "the Butterfly "T"", the "Pagen", the "Madeira," and "Tiny's Music" Kustom Cars. Paul was truly one who pushed the envelope of our hobby. A True genius in Kustom Kar Design. His devotion and friendship among the "Glue Crue," and friends in this region will go on forever, and we are all forever at a loss without Paul. Wake Services will be held Thursday, July 5th 2007 at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home in Rotterdam, NY, and the Funeral will be Friday Morning July 6th. Please pass this on to our Model Car Community. Email Notes of Sympathy and remembrance's of Paul are WELCOME to be sent to us here at Eaglemaster_3357@Juno.Com and we will be honored to give them to the family. Yours in the Sprue, John, Speed & Kevin, "the Adirondack Glue Crue"
