The model was build in 2000/2001 as a entry for the B'ham Classic in 2001. This kit from Lassen is the best ever produced truck model. The Buessing and Krupp from Revell/Germany are similar, but not the best! I got to operate one for a couple of years while working for a Mercedes dealer and they were awesome no matter what I was doing- plowing snow, using the endloader or the forklift- but I did have a much stronger left leg due to the clutch they out in there! The Unimog has a good reputation for its ability to go just anywhere and do anything. Here in the UK they are very popular in Agriculture, for obvious reasons. Great Work.
