High octane
Model Cars magazine has a wide variety of articles in it, so why couldn't that be incorporated in the mag also Harry?
Sixx
I love the white wedge thing on the first mag. funny stuff Harry!!!!!!!

george 53
Before GarySchmitd sold the ORIGINAL Scale Auto Enthus. he would have an April Fool issue every year. I remeber really goofy stuff, like the value of the AIR in an old vintage SEALED kit. Or the Invisible plastic spray. He used an old clear GTO nascar body to show it's effects on plastic. Those were cool and gave his magazine an "It's OUR joke" kinda feelin. I think a goofball article every know an then(like April Fools Day)would be pretty cool, an be something to look forward to. Just sayin....
Nitro Neil
George, agreed, I always liked those April issues. I have to admit that the Airbox article - I think that was the first one - got me. I believed every word, until the next issue came. Harry P.
We used to do April Fools stuff in Model Cars. One year we ran an ad for a DIY home chrome system. Gregg got a bunch of angry emails from people when they found out it wasn't true!

george 53
Actually Harry, I once DID paint a 67 Barracuda with some liquid Kiwi BLACK shoe polish and a Q-tip! It cane out pretty smooth too, the Q-tip leaves no brushstrokes! That one died in a terriblebly massise pile up in my alley! Jeeeze I could shoot myself for some of the STUPID stuff i did to my models back then!!!! Edited October 29, 2011 by george

Jantrix
Harry you are having way to much fun with this stuff. How about the polar opposite? One for super-detailing over-acheivers?

Scott Colmer
This is another good one. Wish I had some of my brush painted beauties from my youth. Shortened more than one finished model with a hacksaw back then. Just cut and glue. Dark blue testers bottle covered everything.
