my80malibu
Preventing static dust from attaching to your model after the paint has dried. I have in progress a police car build going on, Black & white, and it is attracting dust like a magnet. I have decaled, and cleared it. Would waxing it help? or is there another way? mnwildpunk
The best way I have found is after painting I quickly cover it up with a plastic bin. In my experience once dust is trapped in the paint I sand it out and re-spray the whole area. I've tried to polish it out before but the only thing that accomplished was making everything around it shine and then the dust mark stuck out worse. Jantrix
Yeah you shouldn't be leaving a model body uncovered after painting for several days.
my80malibu
The problem I am having is with static dust or cling, not dust in my paint.
