Plasticfanatic
This is my on progress Chrysler Imperial wich hopefuly will become the one race by Arrignton in the early 1980's. The base model used for the conversion is a monogram 1984 Grand Prix to which styrene sheet was laminated and blended to achive the Imperial profile/look, the car is shown with its first coat of primer, lot of sanding and fitting still ahead on this one to get everything smooth as possible, also the engine hood and front bumper/glille are still under construction. Plasticfanatic
A BIG THANKS to all for the kind words about this project, greatly appreciated. Do any fellow member have or know where to get the Arrington race car number/sponsor decal set?....I believe some one did these some time back but don't remember who. bbowser
Try Southern Motorsports Hobbies. Do a search for #67. They list 3 sheets for Buddy, not sure what years they are. Great job on the body BTW.
Plasticfanatic
bbowser & Futurabat, Thank to both of you very much I found a solution to the main decal dilema. I to have deal with J.Heller at e-bay, great guy and super fast service indeed. Now that the solution to the numbers (67) and Arrington name for the car are out of the worktable, will have to find some white drytransfers for the back sponsor...not a dificult thing...I hope!! Again thanks!
Truck parts
Fred, That is a outstanding job you have done so far. Will you sell a resin body of it down the line? I would be interested if you cast some,

Jim N
Very nice body work. I would have never thought a Pontiac can be converted in this manner. I agree with the others, I will be following this one.
martinfan5
Here's a set by Jim Heller. I've dealt with him many times. http://www.ebay.com/...=item4cfbddadf5 These are decals for a MAGNUM but if you contact him i'm fairly sure he'll have what you need. I want to make a comment about that seller, but wont. On topic, looking good, I agree, I love the thinking outside the box, keep it up
