It came with the funny car kit

I found the body at an NNL show in Ohio one year in a parts bin. So I use the runing gear and decals from the Stinger kit. I am planning to redo this one with an updated chassis.

When I get a little more done I will. I am making a working frount end

I took the resin body from Reiable Resin painted it gross red and two coats of clear on a Polar Lights funny car frame.

I took a Type 2 Delivery Van 1967 Hasegawa did a 4" scale chop. The VW emblem is molded to the body so I cut out an air vent between the letters. took an Allison engine for power and an old Vandel exhaust tips. I went with the Tamiya clear on the chrome and use the parachute rear drive train and cage from a shoe box racer. I did photo-etch wheels and sanded the tires. Shabo dry transfer on the tires.

This is a buggy the I have been working on. It is an Entex car with some Revell some Monogram parts for the engine since the kit version are less than desireable.

I took the Lindberg 1/12 scale Topolino body and hybrided with a Monogram funny car kit. The 4 in to 1 was form a toy at a flea market and fit like a charm. I did it in gold metal flake with 2 coats of clear I still want to put decals but I yet to find the right look for it.

I took the Tom Danels bug kit and put a Revel funny car interior machine alumimun wheels with alumimum lug nuts. Also I put a formula one scoop to give it the old baja bug look to it. The engine is wired as well as the oil lines. Paint is 1973 champagne with 3 coats of clear. I omitted the exhaust tips and hollow out the ends to give it a flush look to the body.
