Toyota 86 wide body kit from Hobby Design

Recommended Posts

Releasing some time this month(May) is Hobby Design wide body kit for the Toyota 86 kits, it say its its for the Aoshima version, not sure if that is 100% true, and if it will fit the Tamiya body, but I dont see why not.

This is similar to the Rocket Bunny version, but its a little cheaper, and I think you get more with this one , pre order price is about $67 US, normal price is $71US, I have one on pre order already

HD wasnt going to release this, due to Factory EightyOne releasing it...... Looks mostly like a copy, right down to the etch "rocket bunny" spoiler ends that are identical.

After I posted this, I found out that it is a copy and that they are refusing to pay RocketBunny licensing fees , EightyOne is paying licensing fees to RB

Yeah I read what Toppi posted the other night. I will gladely support Factory EightyOne more ( already have 2 of their RB fr-s kits, as well as Mugen s2000, RB 380sx, and ben sopra gtr) I will not buy from these guys.

Same here, I canceled my pre order I had in, I like that this one comes with P/E and the non stretched tires, and I like the wheels
