  1. I appreciate the feedback, Bill. Kit is the Revell "Calfiornia Wheels" edition.
  2. Just need a summer day to enjoy this ride! Nice work!
  3. Thanks, guys! Much appreciated.
  4. Not sure what the status might be of this kit's molds, but in light of recent developments, wouldn't be great to see this re-released?! Love your build, btw. Very consistent/accurate with what i remember of the original. Well done!
  5. Who did the optional Mustang II paint scheme renderings included in your Photobucket slideshow? They're very nice as well.
  6. Can't tell from the pic's, but looking at the PDF kit instruction sheet, the dash appears to be from the 2010 issue, as the radio face is the smaller face design not the larger display added in 2013. Can you confirm, Gerry?
  7. 1) Was your introduction to modeling at home? Yes 2) From whom? My Dad 3) What kind of models? Cars (old coupes and gassers) 4) What did the person who introduced you to modeling do for a living ? He was an auto-body repairman who built full-size customs and street rods on the side. 5) How old were you? 8 6) About what year was your introduction? 1968
  8. Nice build, enjoyed the fictitious back story as well.
  9. "The paintjob was done with Ferrari-red and clear enamels from Revell. The model was not weathered as the reference car came along in a top notch concours condition." ....This isn't the reference car?!
  10. Outstanding!! Your modifications, while significant, appear as subtle, but oh-so-perfect! Well done, sir.
  11. Well done! Love the restraint shown on the weathering, it's just right, not overly done.
  12. ...Yes, Emperor, your new clothes and your Trans Am are truly indescribable!"
  13. Great show put on by a great group of guys. Looking forward to next year, (February 1, 2014 — theme: 50 years of Mustang). And now a link to some more pic's from Saturday's show: http://s1132.beta.photobucket.com/user/qwtpshn/library/NNL%20West%202013
