Got the chrome for the 61Lincoln today from Modelhause[PICS]

As usual, the quality is outstanding,,the plating is probably better than the original. Got the front grill/bumper, rear bumper and grill, tail lights and dash and all are excellent.

The '61 chrome fits the '63 body very well. The advantage of the '63 body over the '61 [besides me having the '63 and not the '61 LOL] is the open hood ,,the '61 was a curbside with no engine detail so the hood is molded closed,,, IIRC the '62 is a curbside also.

Who did the plating? Chrometech, Little Motor Kar Company?

Sorry Bill,,,no idea. With the ammount of parts they sell I wouldn't be surprised if they do thier own.

I think Bill is under the impression you sent the chrome out for replating. This is from the Modelhaus isn't it?

Looks good, I always liked the 61-63 Lincolns, even though they're almost 3 times as old as I am.
