Tom Bongard used to do SAE's Model Firehouse column in the 80-90's. Anyone know what happened to him, he did some great work and wrote quite a few good articles related to emergency vehicle models.

Oh... Tim, not Tom. 
Unless two guys with the same last name did the Scale Firehouse column in SAE.
